Sunrise in Yamba

Why I got up before dawn (c) A. Harrison

While our state borders were closed, I drove up the coast for a short break. A six hour drive (nothing for travelling in Australia!) to a house near the water, in the seaside town of Yamba in northern NSW.

A place to see whales and dolphins as I walk along a beach, to watch glorious sunsets, and to eat far too much. A drink at sunset on the nearby jetty, chatting with some campers trying their luck at fishing.

In such troubled times, I am lucky to have such an option.
